This is a link to an Associated Press article discussing Libya's international rehabilitation, as witnessed by her recent election to the UN Security Council. As with so many articles on the subject from US sources, it simply assumes that Libya was responsible for the Lockerbie bombing and fails even to mention that Megrahi's conviction has been referred back to the Criminal Appeal Court by the SCCRC on the basis that it may have amounted to a miscarriage of justice. For a similar article, also ignoring the SCCRC's reference-back, this time from The Daily Orange, the student newspaper of Syracuse University, NY, thirty-five of whose students died in the Lockerbie disaster, see
