UK families of Lockerbie victims contemplate new Megrahi appeal
What follows is a story on page 23 of the Scottish edition of today's Sunday Express. It does not feature on the newspaper's website.

Some of the formidable hurdles that would have to be jumped if UK Lockerbie relatives seek to launch a fresh appeal against the conviction of Abdelbaset Megrahi are outlined here.
If the appeal would go ahead, and even if the Cadder provision would apply, at least the public would have the chance to get the eyes up for the absurdity in this legislation.
As for the costs mentioned, I'd think that a collection could raise quite a bit. I could find a 100 quid somewhere for a start. And RB would probably provide all help he could for free. :-)
The article does not at all mention the source for these news, which takes a great deal away from the confidence one can have in it.
