Media coverage of Megrahi session at Edinburgh Book Festival

An internet trawl of the media has revealed the following reports on yesterday’s keynote session Megrahi: A spectacular miscarriage of justice? at the Edinburgh International Book Festival:

Megrahi cover up questioned at Edinburgh International Book Festival on the EIBF website

Megrahi cancer was ‘gift’ to state in The Sunday Times (behind the paywall). This report contains the following:

The cancer that killed the Lockerbie bomber, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi, was a “gift from God” to those who had something to hide.

John Ashton, who co-wrote Megrahi’s autobiography, made the claim yesterday at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

He said the Libyan’s diagnosis with prostate cancer set in motion a “political fix” that ensured his case would never reach the appeal court.

“Megrahi’s cancer was a gift from God for everybody involved that had something to hide,” said Ashton. “It allowed his release ... it was a tragedy for Megrahi but I think everybody else was punching the air.”

Megrahi was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2001 but an independent case review six years later unearthed fresh evidence that cast doubt over the safety of his conviction.

OK, there are different views. such as: "Megrahi's cancer what a gift from GOD for everybody involved that had something to hide."
We, Edwin & Mahnaz Bollier, MEBO Ltd. do not agree with this ! GOD shows various ways aimed to the target...
GOD is also the "TRUTH", so he gives us power to the fight in the "Lockerbie-Affair" until those guilty stay on the pillory and must forget the 'gift' ...

Our submitted criminal charge connected with a damages action of US$ 53 million against officials and authorities are obviously caused by evidence fraud, among other things like the MST-13 Timerfragment 'PT-35' (PT 35B and DP-31/a) - manipulations on police label PI'995 - manipulation of forensic examinations report page nr. 51,. - the swindle with the Toshiba radio-recorder fragment (AG/145) - fake memorandum (label DP'137) from expert Allen Feraday to Chief Inspector W. Williamson, - etc.etc. etc...

Who gave the order for the political proof fraud against Libya ?
Please watch now the full documentary film "Lockerbie Revisited" by Regisseur Gideon Levy, shown to Scottish members of Parliament about important facts concerning the conspiracy against the ex Libya Regime (now NTC of Libya).

  2. The internet is a wonderful tool, but if those in power wish to ignore public opinion or the truth for whatever reason, they can do so, unless there is a political opposition who can rock the boat.

The fact is there has been a Westminster establishment consensus about Lockerbie, with only the SNP having an interest in the matter.

And with the election of an SNP government there was expectation within the ranks that progress would be made - and some progress has been made.

However once in office Ministers found seeking the truth would come at a heavy price. They discovered it was a Washington rather than Westminster cover-up and refused to confront the issue.

It is difficult to see who now has the interest or means to launch an inquiry, particularly when it would only confirm that successive governments have lied to us about the big issues – and when some only want an inquiry into who rather than what caused it.

That’s why I hope the truth about Lockerbie will become like the AE9/11 truth.org an educational tool that persuades a new generation of politicians of the need to restore democracy to Britain, Scotland and America.
