The Truth Never Dies by Charles Albert Booth
This is the title of a recently-published book on the Lockerbie disaster. It is described on, and can be ordered through, this website. An interview with the author can be read here.
Although the book appears to have an actual publisher, the production values are of a poor-quality self-published PoD book. Misprints and formatting errors abound, and the hand of a (badly-needed) editor has clearly been nowhere near the text.
The author is all over the place, jumping from one period of the inquiry to another with no clear time-line. The book is riddled with inaccuracies and misunderstandings, and the author presents a different theory in just about every chapter, with no attempt to reconcile them. He seems simultaneously to believe that the bomb was in AVE4041, was secreted in the empty 747 while it was parked at Heathrow, was introduced at Frankfurt, and was carried across the airport perimeter at Luqa by an "insider".
The trouble with all this is that when he does come out with potentially interesting stuff, the overwhelming suspicion is that this material is no better sourced and no more likely to be accurate than the rest of it.
