Lord Advocate under fire for "false advice"

This is the headline over a report in yesterday's edition of The Sunday Post. It does not appear on the newspaper's vestigial website, but can be read here in a post by Robert Forrester on the Friends of Justice for Megrahi Facebook page.

The Crown Office statement at the end of the article is laughable. The Lord Advocate was caught out being economical with the truth (to put it at its mildest) over the grounds on which the first appeal failed. The Crown Office responds by referring to what was argued in the second appeal before it was abandoned just prior to Abdelbaset Megrahi's repatriation. Talk about diversionary tactics! That the Scottish prosecution system is in the hands of people who are capable of such transparent chicanery is profoundly worrying.

  1. MISSION LOCKERBIE, 2011, doc. nr.1054.rtf. google translation in german/english:

What we experienced today in Libya, is the pent-up hidden frustration, due to the great suffering of the Libyan people during the 6-year old UN Embargos, (background was the extorted extradition to the Scottish Justice of two accused Lamin Khalifah Fhima and Abdelbaset Al Megrahi)!
The questionable charges and the verdict in the Lockerbie affair, although later identified by the Scottish Criminal Cases Reappeal Commission (SCCRC) as a Miscarriage of Justice in 6 points against the Libyan official Abdelbaset Al Megrahi.

This was the first "stone's throw" for the Unrests among the people in Libya against Leader Muammar Gaddafi !
Responsible for Libya's poor image is the result of embezzlement by Scottish Justice of new evidence material and confidential documents SCCRC / "PII" etc. and apparently called for withdrawal of Al Megrahi's promising appeal. The early release of the innocent Al Megrahi has caused additional resentment between the U.S. and Scotland and the rest of the world; (Justice Undone) what for Libya got to negativ ...

The Libyan government does not have any connection with the PanAm 103 attack. Neither Libya nor Libyans were involved in this "event" from the beginning to the end. It is not a groundless defense, it is the definite truth through new forensic of evidence material.
Some of the Scottish Officials are the true criminals in the Lockerbie Affair are responsible for manipulating evidence in the Lockerbie Affair and are still protected by the Scottish Justice !
(They are not involved in the PanAm 103 bombing, but responsible for the conspiracy against Libya).
As soon at that time (2004) if the infamous "Deal in the Desert" of Tony Blair with leader Muammar Gaddafi was sign up, BBC spread it as a success message. Today Gaddafi and his hopeful son, Dr. Seif El Islam, as a future successor of Libya, was from BBC using questionable TV interviews with Libyan Oppositions at London, provided in the pillory... (Seif El Islam, I hope in future the bells ring at you and anymore in the future to let "seduce" from the Crown)

Notices: the words from ex FBI Task Force chief Richard Marquise, cordinator between FBI and CIA in the "Lockerbie-Affair": If someone manipulated evidence, if somebody didn't invesitgate something that should have been investigated, if somebody twisted it to fit up up Megrahi, or Fimah or Libya, then that person will go to jail. I mean that sincerely, that person should be prosecuted for that!

Please watch now the full documentary film "Lockerbie revisited" by Regisseur Gideon Levy, shown to Scottish members of Parliament about important facts concerning the conspiracy against Libya.

  2. For the past three months, I have been prevented from viewing the Friends of Justice for Megrahi Facebook page by fiat of the two Roberts.

Could Messrs Black and/or Forrester now kindly unblock me so that I can read the above-referenced Facebook link!

  3. Logout of FB and just click the embedded link in the blog post - see if that works. Does for me.

  4. Just hearing on Al Jazeera, that Gadaffi has only two friendly countries prepared to take him when he flees Libya, Venezuela or Scotland (he owns a house in Newton Mearns that has a backyard big enough to pitch a tent).

  5. I'm not trusting of "tweets", especially those that claim to be eyewitness to anything. I really don't believe Gathafi will leave. Also there is some indication that a CIA based group may have been orchestrating all of this. I believe it's really media stuffing for search engine manipulation.

  6. In relation to Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini, the following exchange took place yesterday on Lord McConnell’s Facebook page:

Jack McConnell commented on his status: "Must be back in Scotland, TV news is all about Libya."
Patrick Haseldine commented on Jack McConnell’s status.
Patrick wrote: "Libya is wall-to-wall coverage in your Southern neighbour too, Jack!"
Patrick wrote: "Also, given that the Gauci brothers were bribed $3m to secure the wrongful conviction of the 'Lockerbie bomber', why doesn't the Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini immediately apply to the High Court of Justiciary to have al-Megrahi's conviction quashed?”
[The latter comment was deleted and reinstated three times.]
Товарищ Джок Джокевич Томпсон commented on Jack McConnell's status.
Товарищ Джок wrote: "Angiolini lacks the impartiality required for her own job. She is trying to protect a flawed legal system by failing to question gross deficiencies. Her 'resignation' is already submitted. But as she walks out the door for the last time, there can be little doubt of the footprint on her ar$e."
Jack wrote: "Re second [Товарищ Джок’s] comment above - you couldn't be more wrong. A woman of immense integrity who has fundamentally changed our justice system for the better in Scotland - despite the initial hostility of large parts of the legal establishment. My best appointment in any position as a Minister."
Jack wrote: "And Patrick - I have deleted your libelous comment three times now - if it goes up again I'll delete you!"

With which, Lord McConnell deleted my comment a fourth time, and then proceeded to unfriend me on Facebook.

  7. I don't think the comment was libellous, but that sort of hostile spam is never going to win or keep friends, either for yourself or for the cause of truth and justice.

  8. To be honest, Rolfe, I'm not one to spamalot and the concept of hostile spam is quite new to me.

If I want to win and keep friends, do you recommend that I try friendly spam? Or would neutral spam do the trick?

I very much doubt though that spamming of any kind will help in the pursuit of truth and justice!

  9. In any intelligence operation whereby a servant of the government has to perform an unlawful task it is often the procedure for the servant to resign and be given a more rewarding position in another government entity.
