ITN's News at Ten programme this evening broadcast an interview with Ulrich Lumpert, the MEBO engineer who now claims that the fragment of MST-13 circuit board presented to the Lockerbie trial at Zeist as part of the timing mechanism of the bomb that destroyed Pan Am 103, in fact came from a non-operative prototype. The account on the News at Ten website reads as follows:
'An exclusive News at Ten interview has cast new doubt on who was to blame for the Lockerbie bombing.
'A witness who helped convict a Libyan secret service agent of bringing down Pan Am flight 103 has now changed his story.
'Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi was convicted of the bombing that killed 270 people, including 11 residents of the Scottish town of Lockerbie.
'But electronics engineer Ulrich Lumpert says what he told the trial about the timing device said to have detonated the explosives was wrong.
'A key part of the evidence in the case was a singed fragment of a timer traced to Swiss company Mebo, where Mr Lumpert worked.
'Mebo admitted selling timers to Libya but Mr Lumpert now claims the fragment found was part of a non-functional timer that could not possibly have helped to bring down Pan Am 103.
'Mr Lumpert now says the bombing could not have happened in the way prosecutors described it, leaving more questions unanswered about the Lockerbie bombing.'

Important: No prototypes MST-13 timer were supplied to Libya! So its confirms Edwin Bollier's investigation result, the MST-13 Fragment (PT-35) was not from a "Libya timer"! Original excerpt, under Chapter 11:
After Lumpert's statement (ex Engeneer, at MEBO Ltd) was the first witness (1990) and after examining a photograph the PT-35, testified the chip had come from a circuit board for a timer he designed and built in 1985 at the request of Bollier. -----
------He had learned one week prior to the hearing that this timer might have been used in a bomb. He believed the chip had come from one of the first timers made. He detailed how he had designed this circuit board, nothing the slight imperfections on PT-35. once the master board was made, the imperfections showed up on the other circuit boards from that master.

Libya and the official Abdelbaset al Megrahi have nothing to do with the Lockerbie-Tragedy.
Edwin and Mahnaz Bollier, MEBO Ltd. give the Crown, Lord Advocate General and the Appeal Court, the full warranty that the manipulated MST-13 timer fragment (PT-35B) does not come from a timer supplied to Libya and therefore cannot be brought in connection with Libya.
LOCKERBIE is the biggest fraud in the history of Scotland!
Important clearing-up: Libya did pay the compensation under explicit objection that Libya had absolutely nothing to do with the PanAm 103 Lockerbie-Tragedy and could therefore not be made responsible.
In the world media this objection is never mentioned. This tricky suppression of the whole statement by the world's leading news agencies leads to the generally accepted but nevertheless totally wrong notion: If they paid, they did it.
